Dr. Milda Aleknonyte-Resch
Milda is a PostDoc at the Process Analytics who joined in 2023. She blends an interdisciplinary background in quantitative economics with a deep dive into data analysis from both a company and academic perspective. With a Master’s in Quantitative Economics from Kiel University, Milda has gathered valuable insights working with forecasting models at a Big Data company and furthered their understanding of statistics at the Institute of Medical Informatics and Statistics at the University Hospital of Schleswig-Holstein. Milda holds a PhD in natural sciences from Kiel University with a thesis on “The Validity and Statistical Power of the Case-Only Study Design for Interaction Analysis: Gene-Gene Interaction and the Role of Genotype Imputation in Gene-Environment Interaction”. Her research articles have appeared in journals such as npj Parkinson's Disease, Human Genetics and workshops such as CAiSE. Her research interests include: process mining for unstructured data (especially medical/healthcare data), time-series analysis, interaction effects and simulation studies.
